Mom & Daughter Science Camp

Ages: 4th-8th grades

July 7-11, 8:30 – 11:30 AM

Weber State University, Science Lab, room 225

This one-of-a-kind camp invites only girls and their moms (or another female mentor, including big sister, grandmother, caretaker, etc.) to work with different scientists on real scientific projects throughout the week.  Each day is different, spanning physics, chemistry, microbiology, physiology, and astronomy!  This camp focuses on the science that’s studied by researchers that you can also do at home with your family – even with your brother, but only if you want.

COST:  FREE for each mom/daughter pair. (Thanks to support from the Val A. Browning Foundation for 2014, building on support from the Hall Community Foundation in 2013.) Limited to 10 mom/daughter pairs (total of 20 participants).  We have some limited space to accommodate mom/daughter “trios” for those who would like to bring two daughters in the same family.  Please note this in your registration.
