Our CSME center offers resources to Weber State students and faculty. This includes the following:

• Science Teaching Advising
• Hosting of the student chapter of the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA)
• Our “STEM-Ed” faculty group — ongoing discussion and professional development around science and math education

In addition, we host a collection of books, video resources, interactive classroom and meeting spaces, and equipment and materials that can be checked out by faculty for their own classes, or by students working with local classes or other projects.  These include:

• a set of backpacks and equipment, especially appropriate for use on our trails
• a set of Pasco SPARK Science Learning Systems with a wide variety of data acquisition probes
• iPad minis for classroom or lab use
• microscopes, hand lenses, rubber bands, paper clips, duct tape, meter sticks, etc. etc., including a room full of materials used with Science Saturdays and Science in the Parks activities
